Sportsmetrics was featured in this national news magazine’s health section “News You Can Use”. Doctors are just beginning to understand why female athletes are at a higher risk of knee injury than male athletes are. While there are possible contributing factors which women can’t control, scientists are learning there is one area, which they can control, muscle strength and landing technique. Through their special training program called Sportsmetrics, Dr. Frank Noyes and colleagues at Cincinnati Sportsmedicine are helping women athletes reduce their knee-injury rate.
