Four physicians at Cincinnati SportsMedicine & Orthopaedic Center (CSMOC) are featured in the August issue of Cincy Magazine as being the Best in Greater Cincinnati. Of the 443 area physicians ranked by Best Doctors, Inc., only five were selected in the Orthopaedic Physician category – four of the physicians are from Cincinnati SportsMedicine.
Considered to be one of the most recognized and credible resources available to consumers for selecting a physician, the Best Doctors list is developed through an extensive, year-long peer-reviewed process by Boston-based Best Doctors, Inc., and represents the doctors rated by their peers as being among the very best in their specialty.
Cincinnati SportsMedicine physicians selected include;
Dr. Frank R. Noyes, Dr. G. James Sammarco, Dr. Thomas Lindenfeld, and
Dr. Marc Galloway.
Do you ever wonder who physicians seek out when they need specialized medical care? Thirty-five thousand doctors around the country were recently surveyed so you could find out. In the field of sportsmedicine, Dr. Frank Noyes was named as one of the best sports medicine physicians in the United States.
Results of the nationwide survey were published in a reference guide and, according to the publisher, Woodward/White, Inc; “Only those physicians who earned the consensus support of their peers were included. Listings cannot be bought.” Dr. Noyes said this selection is a significant honor. “SportsMedicine like the Best Doctors in America educate the public in the field of medicine,” said Dr. Noyes. “But what I’m especially proud of is our entire Center, as a whole, has earned a reputation worldwide as the physician’s choice for orthopaedic care. Each one of our physicians collaborate within our own practice, sharing information and knowledge regarding all areas of orthopaedics, truly making this a multi-specialty Center with top notch credentials.” Doctors from as far away as the Middle East, Brazil even Canada have been treated at Cincinnati Sportsmedicine for knee, shoulder and back problems. Many of the Tri-State area’s physicians, their spouses and children have been patients. “Medicine has become very specialized and Cincinnati Sportsmedicine has become the destination for orthopaedic care, especially complex knee problems,” said Dr. Noyes. “It’s important for people living in the Cincinnati area to know that this high level of orthopaedic care is just around the corner from them.”
