Mike Piscitello, PT

Staff Physical Therapist, Cincinnati SportsMedicine & Orthopaedic Center
BS, Physical Therapy, Bradley University

Upon graduating from the Physical Therapy program at Bradley University in Peoria, IL, Mike moved back home to the Chicagoland area where he started his career as a therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting. He worked with many high school and college athletes treating a variety of orthopedic conditions. He also contributed to the start up of two brand new clinics.

One of Mike¹s special interests is golf. He helped to implement a golf program for patients at his clinic and assisted at several PGA events in the Chicago area. He was also a clinical instructor for dozens of Physical Therapy students from around the country.

In June 2006, Mike and his family relocated to the Cincinnati area and he joined the Cincinnati Sportsmedicine team, bringing with him almost 10 years of clinical experience treating multiple orthopedic conditions. He is very comfortable working hand in hand with orthopaedic surgeons and believes in the “team concept” to provide quality therapeutic care to his orthopedic patients. He also has advanced training in functional exercises of both upper and lower extremities.

When not in the clinic, Mike enjoys spending time with his family. Julie, his wife, is a part-time Physical Therapist in an orthopedic setting and Mommy to their two sons. The Piscitello family enjoys many outdoor activities together, including camping and playing in their yard. Golfing and snow skiing are some of the other activities Mike takes pleasure in.
