Research Library in Sao Paulo, Brazil named after Dr. Frank R. Noyes
Dr. Frank R. Noyes, President and Medical Director of
Cincinnati SportsMedicine & Orthopaedic Center and it’s
Foundation, was recently honored for his long-time
commitment to the faculty and staff at the University of
Sao Paulo’s Medical Center by having one of the
institutions research and medical libraries named after
him. The honor came following Dr. Noyes’ recent visit to
the university to serve as their featured speaker at a
seminar of South American sportsmedicine and orthopaedic
physicians. More than 500 attendees were on hand for the
seminar and the subsequent ceremony in honor of Dr.
Noyes. The University of Sao Paulo is the largest
university in Brazil and is at the leading edge of
medical care in South America. It is consistently ranked
as one of the top healthcare institutions in South
America as well as one of the top 200 hospitals in the
world.
Dr.
Noyes has been a frequent visitor to Sao Paulo over the
years, lending his expertise and experience to the
orthopedic division of the medical center and providing
medical staff with advanced instructional and surgical
procedures for a variety of complex knee surgeries and
rehabilitative care protocols.
